April 27

Mark and I are in the library tonight. It's the last week of school, and they got snacks and coffee in here. The library is one of my most hated places ever, mostly just because of bad memories of doing research papers in here, and wanting SO BAD to be doing anything else. But anyways, it's probably my last time here to do homework ever, so I'll enjoy it a little I guess.

Last day with the cadavers. I was so excited to take this class last summer. Rightly so... cutting up two dead bodies is pretty exciting. This is a pic of one of them just before we opened the bag to pin structures for our final. I took a picture of just part of the female, her hand. I think it is a little too gross though to post on the interwebz.

Gah!!! Love this ring! The wedding band part. It is so unique and it would fit well with my oval diamond...

This was our scripture in church today. We can show our love to others by becoming like Jesus in this way. He settled down among us, he got involved in people's lives, he genuinely cared for people. He didn't just pass through without a second thought, as we do so many times a day to people we come across.

Spent all day today gluing our wedding invitations together. Wedding planning has been the funnest ever. EXCEPT invitations. Seriously.... we had to deal with the most incompetent people. Gluing was like a walk in the park compared to the rest of the invitation process...

This is one of my favorite little boys ever. He is 6 years old today. I got him this Etch-a-Sketch. He thought it was pretty cool, at least for a few hours I was with him.

Today was a pretty significant day. I had my last clinical ever. I brought Krispy Kreme donuts to the CCU, and gluten free brownies because my nurse has a gluten allergy. The idea is that now I'm just ready... to be a real nurse. I guess I feel like I am.

I also had my first shower with a bunch of lovely ladies that are family friends. This is me and Jonelle. She made me this beautiful bouquet for me to use at the rehearsal dinner.
